Starting Scrum

  1. Get buy-in from management; here's what the org will get, here's what they need to do it, here's our check-in schedule with milestones
  2. Identify the team and explain what we're going to focus on -- core values but presented more palatably
  3. Explain what the org will get, what the team will need to provide in order to do it, here's our check-in schedule with milestones
  4. Explain the parts of scrum; 3 roles, 5 events, 3 artifacts

Buy-in from management We'll see what we're building more regularly by seeing periodic incremental improvements to the product. We'll reduce risk by having those regular check-ins. Developers won't spend so much time stuck in meetings. In exchange, we need you to grant dev's the permission to be stuck in less meetings.
